Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://draconis-names.vercel.app (the “Site”), operated by Dragon Name Generator(“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the generator

The Site provides a free tool that generates fictional dragon names, epithets, pronunciations and meanings. You may use the Site for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, provided you do not interfere with its operation.

2. Ownership of generated names

Names produced by the generator are created algorithmically from common syllables. We claim no ownership of generated names, and you may use them in books, games, artwork and any other works without attribution. Because names are generated from shared building blocks, we cannot guarantee that a name is unique or free of existing trademarks; please run your own clearance checks before registering a name commercially.

3. Site content

The design, code, text, illustrations and blog articles on the Site are owned by Dragon Name Generator or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the Site without written permission.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure.
• Do not use automated means to scrape the Site in a way that degrades service for others.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content through the contact form.

5. Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dragon Name Generator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or of any generated name.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

8. Contact
